Ten Associate Editors have been newly appointed as members of the Editorial Board of Analytical Sciences. Their biographies are included in this issue. Professors Naoki Hirayama, Hiroki Hotta, Shigehiro Kagaya, Atsuomi Kimura, Sigeaki Morita, Jun Nakanishi, Akitoshi Okino, Shinji Sueda, Toru Takahashi, and Tadayasu Togawa have retired from the Editorial Board. We thank them for their long time service for the journal. As of March 1st, Nobuhiko Iki of Tohoku University is serving as the Senior Associate Editor.
