The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry (JSAC) was founded in 1952 whose objective is to contribute to the fields such as science, technology, development in cultures, human welfare, and so on, by promoting to exchange information about analysis among the members and to advance and develop analytical chemistry. Because analytical chemistry is related to wide areas, for example, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, and pharmaceutics, about 8000 of the researchers and engineerers in those areas belong to JSAC. JSAC is the world's largest society relating to analytical chemistry and it is distinct characteristics that the members in many areas are acting diligently with analytical chemistry as a common platform.
