Yumi YOSHIDA − Editorial Board Member

Yumi YOSHIDA, Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Technology, Kyoto Institute of Technology, was born in 1969 in Kyoto Prefecture. She received Bachelor's degree (1992) from Doshisha University and Master's (1994) and Doctorate (1998) degrees from Kyoto University. She was appointed in 1999 as a research associate and in 2007 as an associate professor at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. In 2001, she was a visiting researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, and in 2006 was a researcher of Precursory Research for Embryonic Science and Technology (PRESTO). Her current research interests focus on the separation and absolute determination of trace amounts of ionic species by using the thin layer electrolysis cell.
