Shinya KITAGAWA − Editorial Board Member

Shinya KITAGAWA, Associate Professor at the Department of Life Science and Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology, was born in 1970 in Toyama Prefecture. He received his Bachelor (1993) and Doctor (1998) of Engineering degrees from Nagoya Institute of Technology and Hiroshima University, respectively. He served as an Assistant Professor (2000-2003) at Nagoya Institute of Technology and was promoted to his current position in 2003. He received the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry Award for Younger Researchers in 2006. His current research interests focus on high-performance liquid chromatography at ultra-low temperature, nonaqueous electrophoresis of synthetic polymers, and the ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectroscopy of polymers.
