Masashi UEDA − Editorial Board Member

Masashi UEDA, Professor at Department of Biofunction Imaging Analysis, Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama University, was born in Hyogo in 1978. He received his Bachelor (2000), Master (2002) and PhD (2011) degrees from Kyoto University. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (2004−2006) and at Kyoto University Hospital (2006−2012). In 2012, he moved to be an Associate Professor at Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama University, and was promoted to his present position in 2017. His research interests are the development of radio- pharmeceuticals and molecular imaging probes, and noninvasive analysis of biological function using in vivo molecular imaging techniques.
