Masafumi ODAKA − Editorial Board Member
Masafumi ODAKA, Professor at Department of Life Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering Sciences, Akita University. He received Master (1990) and PhD (1994) degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked at Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science as Researcher (1990−1993), at RIKEN Institute as Researcher (1994−2003) and as Senior Research Scientist, at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology as Associate Professor (2003−2014). He moved to his current position in 2014. His current research interests include the structural and functional analysis of proteins, including time-resolved X-ray crystallography, and the development of novel protein nanocapsules.
