Masanori FUJINAMI − Editorial Board Member

Masanori FUJINAMI, Professor of Applied Chemistry at Chiba University, was
born in 1959 in Shizuoka Prefecture. He received a B. of Engineering (1982) and a D. of
Engineering (1987) from the University of Tokyo. He worked for Nippon Steel Corporation
(1987-1998), and served as an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo (1998-2003).
In 2004, he moved to his present position. His current research interests are: 1) radioanalytical
chemistry and physics using positron, 2) surface analysis using near-field optical microscopy,
and 3) liquid-liquid interface analysis using laser spectroscopy. He likes to play football and to
cheer the Japanese national football team. He enjoys family trips to Japanese-style spas.
