Hotaka KAI − Editorial Board Member

Hotaka KAI, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, National Institute Technology (NIT, KOSEN in Japanese), Suzuka College, was born in 1982 in Miyazaki, Japan. He received his PhD degree in Environmental Science from Nagasaki University in 2009. He first served as a Specialized Teacher (2009−2011) at the College of Analytical Chemistry, Japan. He relocated to be Assistant Professor in 2011, and was promoted to his current position in 2017. He teaches analytical chemistry and environmental engineering for his students at Suzuka KOSEN. His current research interest is bioassay using Medaka (Oryzias latipes), the establishment of a simple analysis method and the establishment of a water treatment method using microorganisms.
