Hiroshi HASEGAWA − Editorial Board Member

Hiroshi HASEGAWA, Professor of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Institute of Science and Engineering, Kanazawa University, was born in 1968 in Aichi Prefecture. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree (1991), and Master of Science degree (1993) from Kyoto University. He served as a Research Associate at Kochi University (1993–1997) and Kyoto University (1997–2000), a Lecturer (2000–2002) and Associate Professor (2002–2011) at Kanazawa University. During these periods, he received his Doctor of Science degree from Kyoto University (1997). He was promoted to his present position in 2011. His current research focuses on the behavior of trace elements in the hydrosphere, relation to eutrophication and trace elements in aquatic environments, and the development of remediation technology utilizing the natural cycle.
