Preparation of Poly(malachite green) Modified Electrode and the Determination of Dopamine and Ascorbic Acid

A novel glassy carbon electrode modified with Malachite Green was investigated. The modified electrode can be used to determine dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA). The anodic peaks for ascorbic acid and dopamine were separated (DEpa about 200 mV) at the poly(malachite green) modified electrode. Thus, DA can be determined in the presence of AA.
