Tamotsu ZAKO − Editorial Board Member

Tamotsu ZAKO, Professor at Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ehime University. He received his Bachelor (1994), Master (1996) and Doctor (2001) degrees from The University of Tokyo. He worked at Waseda University (2001−2003) and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (2003−2004) as a postdoctoral fellow, and at RIKEN Institute as Senior research scientist (2004−2015). He moved to his current position in 2015. He was the recipient of a Research Fellowship for Young Scientist from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). His current research interests include the development of bio-analytical methods using nanoparticles and the analysis of biomolecules such as proteins.
