Kiichi SATO − Editorial Board Member

Kiichi SATO, Associate Professor at School of Science and Technology, Gunma University, was born in 1971 in Tokyo. He received his Bachelor (1994), Master (1996), and Doctor (1999) degrees from School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo. After his postdoctoral work at Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology, he worked as a Research Associate at School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, (2000−2002) and as Assistant professor at School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo (2003−2011). He moved to his current position in 2011. He received the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry Award for Younger Researchers in 2006 and Outstanding Researcher Award on Chemistry and Micro-Nano Systems in 2017. His current research interests focus on the development of microfluidic bioanalysis systems and Organ-on-a-Chip devices.
