Akira OHASHI − Editorial Board Member

Akira OHASHI, Associate Professor, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ibaraki University, was born in 1973 in Aichi, Japan. He received his PhD degree from Osaka University in 2002. He was the recipient of a Research Fellowship for Young Scientists from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS, 1999−2001). He served as a Research Associate (2002−2004), a Lecturer (2005−2007) and an Associate Professor (2008−) at Ibaraki University. His current research interests are separation sciences, especially solvent extraction of metal ions using supercritical carbon dioxide and ionic liquids and the development of the analytical method for the chemical reaction at the liquid–liquid interface.
