Akira KOTANI − Editorial Board Member
Akira KOTANI, Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, was born in 1974 in Chiba, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in 2004. He served as a Research Associate (1999−2007), and an Assistant Professor (2007−2015) at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. He was promoted to his present position in 2015. His current research focuses on the development of analytical methods, including sensors based on electrochemistry, to determine substances of biological importance.
