Takeshi HASEGAWA − Editorial Board Member

Takeshi HASEGAWA, Associate Professor of Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, was born in 1966 in Niigata. He received a BS degree in Chemistry from Waseda University in 1989, and MS (1991) and PhD (1995) degrees from Kyoto University. He stayed in Kobe Pharmaceutical University from 1993 through 2002, and moved to College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University, as Associate Professor in 2003. In 2006, he further moved to an incumbent affiliation. His research interests are vibrational spectroscopy (IR and Raman) for surface analysis, and analytical techniques of spectra, including chemometrics. He has been involved in developing a novel spectroscopic technique, named multiple-angle incidence resolution spectrometry (MAIRS), which has recently been commercialized (2007) as an attachment for FT-IR.
