Yusuke SATO − Editorial Board Member
Yusuke SATO, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, Tohoku Univeristy, was born in 1983 in Iwate, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 from Tohoku University under the supervision of Prof. Norio Teramae. He became an assistant professor in 2010 at Tohoku University and was promoted to his current position in 2020. He also worked on the development of chemical sensors for cytokines secreted from cells with Prof. Revzin Alexander in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, UC Davis with the support from JSPS overseas research fellowships (2014 – 2016). His research projects are mainly focused on the development of a new class of fluorescent
probes targeting RNAs and exosomes.
