Takafumi SHIMOAKA − Editorial Board Member
Takafumi SHIMOAKA, Assistant Professor of Institute for Chemical Research (ICR), Kyoto University, was born in 1982 in Kagoshima, Japan. He received his Bachelor (2006), Master (2008) and Doctor (2011) degrees of Science from Hiroshima University. He moved to his current position in 2011. He received the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry Award for Young Researchers in 2019 and the Spectroscopical Society of Japan Award for Young Scientists in 2019. His current research interest includes the development of vibrational spectroscopic techniques for analyzing organofluorine materials.
